This recipe is gluten and dairy free. At the end of the recipe check out my suggestions for other ways to use these meatballs.
Makes 21 meatballs
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1lb of lean ground beef
1lb of ground mild Italian sausage
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp light brown sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tbsp garlic oil
1 tbsp almond milk
Directions
1) Preheat the oven to 425°F
2) Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl until fully combined.
3) Use 1/8 cup to scoop out the meat mixture. Roll into balls and place on a non stick baking sheet. Repeat until all the meat mixture is gone.
4) Bake for 18 minutes.
5)Let sit for 5 minutes too cool.
6) Enjoy!
Suggested uses for meatballs:: 1)Eat as is! 2)Spaghetti and meatballs. 3)Toss in your favorite BBQ sauce and put toothpicks in them and serve as an appetizer. 4)Meatball subs with marinara sauce, topped with vegan cheese. 5) Toss any cooked noodles with vegan butter, salt, black pepper, oregano, parsley flakes, garlic oil and small amount of pasta sauce. Add cooked zucchini and meatballs. 6) Toss in sweet and sour sauce and serve with white rice. Enjoy!
